Why your house internet (WIFI) Sucks?

Sure, Wi-Fi is a technology that allows devices such as computers, smartphones, and tablets to connect to the internet without a physical wired connection. It’s like an invisible cord that connects your device to the internet. You can think of it as a big invisible net that covers your house or office, allowing you to move around freely while still being connected to the internet.
That’s a very normal and upsetting thing we face, especially now a days that almost all our internet use as soon as when we get home is based on our local internet provider. You might have 5, 10, 200mbps plans, but that number doesn’t mean anything to your phone or computer, if the signal been received by it doesn’t actually reach as it full or as it was intended to.
Then it normally comes the next question: why am I paying xx plan to the operator and it seems my internet just sucks? Well there might be several reasons, but normally there’s 2 points to check up and could very easily fix at least 80% of your WIFI problems:
1.       You might be actually consuming more than what you are paying for. Same as when someone asks you “how many calories do you consume in a day” or “how many calories does that plate of pasta have”, normally, unless you actually know the calories, have read about it and study, you might either go too low and go too high. If you have never stopped to analyzed, you just won’t hit the target and might be overconsuming your calories needs. Same as the internet, you might be paying for a 20mbps service which sounds great in paper, but you have purchased several cameras on black Friday in amazon (let’s say 3), you have 4k Netflix service, there’s 3 people in your house which have mobile phones, like to use YouTube and you are trying to have a family video conference…it will just not add up.
2.       Your main modem it’s located in the wrong spot in the house and you need to extend your WIFI coverage. Right now, the most efficient way is getting at least 2 MESH WIFI capable equipment’s. This are very easy to get in Amazon or even your local store for electronics. The MESH is the evolution of a simple WIFI repeater which will create a “Mesh” of WIFI in your house and will keep the same WIFI identifier (SSID) making it simple to roam between rooms. On this days and age, I would say it’s a mandatory feature for your household.
This is a short one, which I hope you can check it out and make sure to let me know if it was useful, as I was a gamechanger for me and my family when I implemented.
